Equality At Home

I've been yearning to talk about this for a while now because I've had this in my mind for so long. It might be a small thing, or not, depending on how you see it.

It's pretty common that women have this role they have to take on at home, meaning we do the chores at home while the guys can sit on their asses with a beer playing games all day.

This story I'm about to tell happened once, quite recently and I'm still pissed about it when I think of it. I help out with the chores at home every day BUT as soon as I skip one day, when I don't want to do the dishes, hell breaks loose. I had this one day, it was actually the day of my job interview, I felt like shit afterwards and didn't think I was going to get the job at all. I'm sensitive that way, that I need to be perfect in professional situations. Anyway, I felt really sad and down and I spent most of my afternoon in bed and didn't feel like doing anything. What happens is that I get bashed on for not wanting to do the dishes!

People never see the good things you do until you stop doing them. One thing I loathe about the roles women and men have at home is the roles they're supposed to have. Women are supposed to do this and men do that.

Women do the cooking, dishes and all the cleaning every single day and men, well men are supposed to do the more "heavy" stuff. Like building that IKEA chair or fix that cupboard or whatever handy stuff around the house, right?

Now, hold your breaths, because the real rant is coming.

How often do guys need to do the "heavy" stuff?? How often do you need to build a chair, how often do you need to fix things around the house? Is it a daily chore for you to fix those things? Is it?! If it was then I wouldn't rant right now! How often do women have to cook, clean, do the laundry and all that stuff compared to how often you, men, need to do your shit?!

Women do their shit every single day, day in, day out, men only need to do their heavy stuff like... Oh, I don't know! Every 6 months?!

This is where I want men and women to do the daily chores equally. Unless cooking, doing the dishes, cleaning and other chores require a vagina to do the job then I'd understand that only women can do these jobs. But do you use your vajay to do the daily chores? No. You only need two arms and two legs. Do all humans have that? Apparently, yes. Is it a difficult task, the home chores? Not really, we all can do it. A drunk monkey can do it, then so do men.

Ya'll sit on yo' asses all day doing yo' shit on yo' computers while women do all the work at home! Think about it, if men helped out at home, the productivity at home would be so much more efficient and done faster with more people who'd help out.

If we look at other cultures, including mine, the Asian, you often see when it comes to dinner time that all the women do the cooking and cleaning afterwards. Doesn't matter if they've worked the same hours as their men, women should do their thing in the kitchen while men sit with a beer in front of the TV. After eating dinner the woman cleans the whole shit up. And the men just... Chill.

What the actual fuck! I asked my aunt why her husband didn't help out. I asked every woman there why the guys didn't do shit. And I hate the answer that I got: "Oh, but some things can only be done better if women do it, while men are better at other things."

Again, unless you build IKEA chairs with your dick and use your vajay to do the cooking then I'd understand.

What kind of fucking answer was that?! "Women do certain things better". You have two arms, men can do the exact same fucking thing. Throw them some dishes and let them do it for a week and they'll be just as good as women! For fucks sake! Whenever I buy furniture from IKEA, I'd build my own shit!

Maybe it's just who I am, but I'm very handy. I do the heavy, "man stuff" by myself with whatever I can. Obviously I can't carry heavy furniture if I was going to move, but throw me a car and let me fix the engine if it broke. Whatever I can carry, I'll do it myself. I'll change my own tires. Hell, we have these network cables that are a bit messy and who fixed it? Me.

I don't know. Men can do things women can too, they just don't want to. It's all about their complaining. Men complain for two weeks before they have to do their thing and once they do it they complain even more. "OOOH! Poor me! I help out so much and this task is sooo annoying, women don't do shit, only forces us men to do things! I hate doing the dishes!!". Yeah, shut the fuck up, I asked you to do the dishes ONCE a week while I do it the rest of the week.
_______________

I have so much difficulty taking orders from authorities. So much that I can't even decide things for myself. If someone tells me to do something I won't. Or I will, but I wouldn't be very happy doing it. If I decide to do something, I'd do it myself with a piece of joy in the work. I'm now talking about house work, mostly. I wouldn't do this in my professional field. But seriously. Don't tell me what I should do. I know it myself and when the time is right, I'll do it. And I do it passionately and with perfection.

Okay, I'm running out of thoughts because I can tell I'm starting to talk about pure shit.

Anyway, I can't live with other people. People who would get close to me and see the real me would hate me. That's why I want to live alone. Not because I care about you and you shouldn't suffer my anger. No, haha, oh no. I hate ya'll that's why. I'm saving my own ass.

Cynical

Yes, I drink my "stimulant" with a straw! Stop judging. No, it doesn't taste better this way but it's preventing the coffee from staining my teeth more than it could.

Call me a granny or whatever. But the reason why I enjoy and hate having my coffee (Cappuccino) with the newspaper is because the caffeine stimulates my brain to run in high speed and therefore I criticize the articles.

The hating part of this activity is I criticize the newspaper. I turn into this cynical b*tch. I think there's idiots around me all the time.

There was this short text talking about how you can "really support the environment". You should drive slower in the evening/night in order to save the lives of the frogs around this lake.

How the heck do you drive slower in order to save the frogs?! It's like telling Godzilla to walk slower because he can't step on people. And we're talking about frogs vs. a car! Who the eff stops or drives AROUND a frog in the middle of the road just to save a frog?! Drive over that shit! We're taught in driving school that if e.g. a deer, fox or whatever runs in front of you, you freaking go for it. You don't stop!

"Oh but we just wanna save the wild animals and the environment". Since when?! Humans have always fought animals in favor of our survival, should we suddenly stop the car or drive around a fucking frog for this? Hit that shit. Nobody cares.

Ugh, I just ranted on a text about frogs. What am I doing with my life? See what I mean with the cynical part, and why I hate this activity? There's plenty of more articles and texts that I could rant on that I find to be idiotic.

Since I'm on a hating spree I might as well rant on the Blogger app. What the heck is that shit? Why is it on the market when it doesn't even work?! The most basic functions don't even work! I can't post a text or a picture! I'd blog way often if this app worked but now I have to plug in my phone to my PC and get the pictures from there and then write my texts. I'm honestly considering moving platform, AGAIN. Maybe to Wordpress.

FYFAN SL, put a stick up your bum!

I need to go on a rant spree in this text.

I just feel like this new system of SL is so stupid. People pay too much for a monthly ticket, it's about 750 kr for that and they're going to raise it to close to 1000 kr, ca. 900 kr. A freaking paper of Gustav Vasa every month to get from point A to point B in Stockholm! What if your travel distance between your home and work is, let's say, two stations? I know people with that short distance, are they going to pay that money for that short travel time?? No wonder people "plankar"!

Where does the money go, huh? We pay so much already, we're actually one of the most expensive cities in the world when it comes to the cost of a freaking ticket! This stupid money probably goes to hire all these inspectors to walk around the city and inspect us all, the more money the more inspectors. Yeaaaah, yeah, I know, the money actually goes into maintaining the whole rail system, trains and other services, or that's what they tell us. Well, good for freaking you, if you could actually give us all good quality for the system and services that we payed for that'd be great!

I use the subway and I was stuck for fucking 20 mins at one station because of some stupid "train issue" further down the road. Effing 20 minutes! If I was going somewhere important I'd be fucked! I don't believe it was some train issue, I believe some bad ass "plankare" got beaten down by a security guard for "plankning" which he/she decided to fight against.

Bitch, fucking please. I guess I could pay the right price for my ticket IF I GOT THE FUCKING QUALITY FOR IT!!! I don't want any fucking 20 mins stops! I don't want to be stuck and wait every fucking year during the winter when SL makes the same fucking mistake every year and never learns how to deal with a little snow! You know the snow is coming, you've lived here for, oh I don't know (!) a long time enough to understand that snow WILL fall! The subway has existed for over 50 years, it's fucking time to use the money and invest in a system that works! How the hell does Japan make it work? Germany? Or any other country? Why not just get some inspiration from them instead of robbing our fucking money to hire inspectors to bust the asses off of people that don't live in Hammarby Sjöstad, Danderyd or Stureplan with tons of money to spit out 1000 kr every month to this shit. Oh, I'm sorry, they probably don't even use public transport, because they are rich enough to drive a fancy car they want to show off every meter. I don't know, even if you don't want to pay 900 but have to, you'll indirectly support the shit you don't want to support.

A whole Gustav Vasa piece of paper in order to get in to town... How ridiculous. And you don't even go there every day!

When I lived in Jkpg I payed 420 every month, 420! You know how much a "fritidskort" costs now? It's a new thing that came out recently. You can, with this card, roam around the city, and even further, 24/7 for 30 days. You know how much? 1.5.0. 150 fucking kr. Let that sink in.

Sure, they don't have trains IN the city, only buses, and there's not much to maintain, so I understand how it can be so cheap. But seriously, the time I've lived there I had minimal issues with them, even during the winter. I was spiteful when I got posts on Facebook of my friends having troubles with SL during the winter. "Thank God I'm not in that shit hole". Now I'm jelly of JLT.

Wtf World, Wtf?!

I just need to rant on this one.

Here's a text that has thousands of likes on Facebook and people seem to praise this dude for his "wise words", when in fact it's just common sense. Excuse for any weird words or sentences, this was immediately translated through Google. But you'll get the point.

"This man is dating a woman even though he is married ... It looks disgusting, but I am still forced to admit that he has an excellent reason to do it!

It may seem shocking, but his words are, after all, very wise ... Jared Wilson is an author, pastor and spouse.
He also has a blog where he writes very sensible things ... And he has also used his blog to this remarkable confession which recently has spread like wildfire on the net ... You will soon understand why.

"I have a confession ... I am married and have a mistress.

Yes, I am dating a woman. It is truly an amazing girl. She is beautiful, smart, mischievous and she's strong ... I like to go out with her at night, take her out to a restaurant, cinema and when I'm with her I tell her how wonderful she is. I can not be mad at her for more than five minutes, and when I see her smile brightens the whole of my day.

Sometimes she comes to see me at work and without notice. Sometimes she takes me on a delicious lunch or surprise she me with a good cake that she has baked. I can not understand how I could be so lucky to meet this woman, even though I'm married. By the way, I encourage you to really test you as well, you will see what a delight it is in life!

Oh! Did I say that this mistress, the woman who I date, also my wife? Well, what did you think ...?

What I would say is that the love life does not stop just because you're married. I want to continue to be my wife's lover and go out with her as if it were the first time even though I'm married to her. I do not want to stop courting her, I would not stop charm her just because we both have said "yes". But I often see relationships that fall into a routine for the two parties are no longer see themselves as lovers.

When you are with someone you get to know a person in a special and unique way. Why would you want it runs out? It should not make. The passion you knew on a first date should not have to be extinguished because of the years go by. Wake up each day and courting your wife as if you were still at the beginning of the relationship. You'll see that if you see it that way, then your relationship will change completely.

The key to any relationship whatsoever is communication and the quest to constantly be loved by the other. What would love be without it?

I encourage you therefore to dating your wife, to woo her with all your energy and all your heart ... And that a "yes" does not mean that you have won her and that you have nothing more to do. On the contrary, it is just the beginning. "

- Jared Wilson"

I know it's not obvious to everyone and obviously it isn't since people praise this dude. But if you really think about this, isn't this common sense in a way? I think most of us can come to this thinking in our minds if we just sat down and reflected upon this.

I knew very early in the text that he was speaking about the same woman and not two separate.

Maybe I'm too much of a romantic, maybe I'm very old-fashioned when it comes to love and relationships but if I would be in a serious, healthy relationship then these things would come automatically, the "dating things" Wilson is writing about. Shouldn't we all go on dates with our loved ones, even if it's a marriage of 30 years? As Wilson says in the text, you shouldn't settle because the years pass by. I understand relationships actually turn into more of a friendship down the road, if you think about it. When feelings settle and that first spark has kind of diminished. But it's just fucking common sense to keep the spark up with these dates. I don't understand how this text got so popular. I can only come to one answer why, and that is simply because people fucking forgot how to keep the love up and going. People forgot how to cherish their loved ones, people forgot how to appreciate the love and remind each other that they are fucking loved, beautiful and awesome. People forget to remind each other about that. And that is what made me pissed.

Everybody wants to feel loved, cherished and appreciated, sometimes being spoiled... Men and women. So why not just fucking give that to each other? And if the other person doesn't see these beautiful acts of yours then let them fuck off.

Bye.

I Don't Want Any Children - And This Is Why

This will probably be the biggest post I've ever made in my whole life. I've had these thoughts for so many years and I feel like it's time to pour it out into a text.

As the title states, I don't want any children. No babies, no kiddies. No nothing. And I will probably never understand the rest of the world, why they want children.

Sure, it's about transferring your genes, it's about creating the ultimate creature between you and your loved one. You are a human and the best way to feel love is to feel love from another human. So what better way than to create another lil' homo sapiens that is a mixture between YOU and the other person that you love the most on this earth, your partner? It is surely a beautiful creature when you have your own baby in your arms. And the beautiful bond that you will feel when it's in your stomach. The fact that you're growing another human in your body, you are growing life, a "clone" of yourself. The uncondidional love every parent will have for their child is unimaginable, it's probably the ultimate form of love. "I made this", is what both parents will proudly say.

Is this what you all feel about babies and children?

I remember, once upon a time, when I was younger (to be more specific: when I was under 10 years old and played with dolls) that I've never wanted a big family. I once wanted children, or should I say: a child. I only wanted one kid, that's the most that I could imagine having. But as I kept growing up, that thought disappeard, and it did very quickly. I've been having these thoughts for sooo long, for so many years, that I am anti-children.

I seriously want no children.

I've said this to everyone that I know and I've always had the same respons: "Oh, you will change. You will want it later.". I'm in my most fertile years of my life and every person that I've asked "Do you want children?" have all said yes, yes and yes. I haven't met a single person in my life that have said a straight and confident no, I've only met one person, that's me. Just me.

I have seen the beauty and happiness of having a big family with unconditional love. I feel it everytime I travel to my relatives where I'm being showered with love from so many people. I've seen that beautiful love. But this still doesn't change my mind.

I mean, seriously, I think I've seen all the beautiful aspects of children, family life and all that jazz, that SHOULD HAVE persuaded me to have children, like everyone else. I haven't actually experienced the worse of children. I haven't experienced the late night cries of a baby, the hardships of seeing what a pregnant woman is going through. So what makes me want no children?

I have no idea.

Where is this feeling coming from? Why am I not like everyone else, like every woman? Most of you want children in the future, but why don't I? Am I not ready for one? Hell yeah, I'm obviously not ready, I don't think most 20 year olds are, but I don't think I ever will be ready. I don't see myself with a growing human in my tummy when I'm 25, 30, ever.

Let's start from the beginning of life. Let me rant and give you my perspective:

I don't like the thought of having a positive pregnancy test. That is the first life chaning moment of a woman. Should I keep the baby or not? For me, that would freak me the fuck out, that would feel like I received news that I have HIV, Ebola or whatever disease that can't be cured (fortunately, pregnancy can be "cured").

Then people decide to keep the baby. Making it grow in the tummy, they start feeling a bond with the baby, the life that is growing in there. You change your whole life at this point! You leave drugs out of your life, you start eating healthier, you dedicate your life to this life inside of you! You start buying things to this baby: clothes, toys, food, bed, all that stuff.

For me, I would feel like an alien is growing inside of me. That I am having a parasite that I am feeding and am supposed to love. Do you know how scared I am of this? I feel like hyperventilating as I'm writing this. As mentioned, your body goes through a whole change. I mean... You change. Do you get it? Your body is changing. It's like you have a disease. A disease that will last for nine months and you can just hope for as little complications as possible when you've popped that thing out after nine months. You will still have that extra weigh, probably gathered tons of stretch marks and all that stuff. You know what I mean. Marks from the pregnancy, scars from the disease. Don't forget the nine month torture of puking, mood changes, cramps, cravings and all that. Being on your period for nine months straight, but x10 worse.

Then it's time for labor. Wow, the most horrifying moment. I can't even imagine the pain. People say it hurts like hell. I'm sure it really does. I mean, this stuff scares me, it's like surgery without numbing your body. Medieval torture, lulz. I know we have C-section as an option too, but I'm talking about the other thing people decide to go through.

Time to care and raise the child. Do I have to write this part? I'll make it as short as possible. You stop working and it's a full time job to care for this baby. The late night cries, the insanity you go through because of this baby. The life changing, never ending process of raising a child! I have so many thoughts about this part that I can't even write this down orderly.

It is really annoying to raise a child! The poop, the snot, the tears, the screams. All you can do is to care unconditionally. you can't speak to a baby, it has no purpose but to get attention because it wants food and love. Or to change the diapers.

As it grows up, things will change again. First of all, throughout your whole life with your child(ren), you will have to pay for everything! I mean a lot of things, from fertilization state till you're dead. That's the first thing: you have to put money into the kiddos. Clothes, toys, medicine, entertainment, etc.

Theeeen, when it's integrating with society, it'll start talking about other people, will start comparing stuff with other people. I mean, I'm talking about everything: clothes, toys, appearance, and more.

I'm having a head ache at this point.

Then you have to teach it about morals, views, opinions, thoughts, feelings and maaaaaan, it's a lot. I am already confused by the complexity of human kind, how the hell will I teach a child all of this. (let them live life for themselves and support and help them as they go, I know.)

You also have pressure for them to succeed. You don't want your child to be a loser, do you? To work at McDonalds. You want your kid to have money, succeed, be happy and whatnot. That puts pressure on you as a parent. You will feel like a failure if your child goes down.

Okay, at this point I am totally having a head ache, I can't think any further, but I have so much more to say. I might continue another time.

All in all, I am, obviously for abortion. I wish I was a man, don't have to go through all these thoughts. Weird ending. Whatever.

HOWEVER, I do wanna replace children with animals, specifically dogs! I am totally in love with dogs as women are to babies.

There will be a part II

Lemme rant: My new flatmate

New category on the blog: "Rant".

Look, I am by no means a meticulous person. I am a messy creature myself and I don't mind a lil' bit of messiness. BUT, this only applies to youself, and yourself only, literally! When you are sharing living areas with someone else, especially with a stranger, you're not frekking at home anymore! Show some effing respect and consideration by cleaning your own damn shit up, because guess what?! -You're living with other people and they might need that damn area you just used! Let me tell you the exquisite story about my very beloved flatmate.

Now this bitch that I have to endure agony of is attending some weird-ass off-programme in high school. No, I ain't gonn' judge, but this time I have to. First time I saw her face I immediately knew she was a bitch. That mascara build-up and those ugly-ass brows on her face. Yepp, a grown upp fjortis. Still, I was not condemnatory towards her. I'll respect her, as I do with all strangers. You are given respect at first, then it's up to you to either lose it, keep it or increase it.

Not even a week passed until she showed her disgusting, undiciplined, reckless habits:

Habit #1: Bitch is leaving shit stains in the toilet: My first thought when I saw those dark shit stains in the toilet was "*piiiiip*. Ok, keep calm. Maybe she doesn't double check, she'll remove the shit next time she's enjoying these glamorous moments with the toilet." Guess what? Ohohoho... Oh, how I was incorrect. At least my mum told me to double check after my visit to the WC, and to clear the shower outta hairs after using it, I didn't need to hear that because I knew this was obvious. Obviously, this son of a bitch doesn't have any type of dicipline or submissiveness from/to her parents. Look, she was disabled for the moment, an injury, broke her leg. She was physically on crutches. I thought that mayyyybeeee..... Just mayybbeee..... She was unable to reach that brush and scrub that bowl of shit. This happened after the second time she visited the WC. And so... The angel that I am, I took the brush and frekking cleaned that shit off! DAYMN OOOOUUU DAYMN! That was the most obnoxious moment of my life. I feel for those who have this as a job. But yeah! I did it! Because I had the mum-instinct, to have stuff clean around here. Nononono, it's not a mum-instinct, it's the effing norm-instinct. You're not supposed to show, visually, what you ate the other day. I HOPED that not the same thing would happen again. Pffftttttttttt. It happened again. Okay, I raged. I left the shit sitting there, and it was gone a couple of days later. But a mothereffing couple of days is waaaayyy too much! We're not using the WC once a day! But twice, thrice, phrice times! I'm not your effing mum to clean up your damn ass! And again... Today, there's more shit. And the bitch is gone for the weekend, and I have to see this... Oh god. You know what I'm sayin'.

Habit #2: That trash bag: We have these special paper bags that only combustible waste jumps into. So I'd say... The leftovers goes into this little bag. APPARENTLY this bitch doesn't know how to effing read and is not considerate about others and the environment at effing all! There's instructions on how these are used. She treats these bags like a normal trash can! I said "little bag", we're talking about the size of an effing american lunch bag:

Who the eff puts their effing moldy, huge pack, of bread in there?! I can understand, bread can go in there, but what I'm pissed off about is that it clearly says "NO EFFING PLASTIC". Can you burn plastic and turn that shit into fuel?! NO!!! EFFING NO! No effing wonders she's fucked up (yepp, I'm gonna curse as much as I can now. Tired of holding back with "effing"), totally fucked up in the head! Of course you're not producing smart people if you're in a programme about some stupid gymnastics and shit. But puh-leeze!!! Do those fucking paper bags look like a normal trash can?! Are you that fucking lazy to turn around 180 and find a fucking trash can right behind you!!??! Are you so damn stupid?! Like I can't even imagine what IQ you might have! Is it fucking 2?! Apparently you can't even distinguish between a lunch-sized bag and a normal trash bag!!! I did clear her shit off the first time, to show her that it's not supposed to.. be in there. Her bread pack. The bag is overfilled now. It's not allowed to reach over 50% of the bag and it's supposed to be exchanged, maximum, every three days. I don't know how long this bag's been lying there. If she really wanna put her packs in there, I'd gladly shovel the shit down her throat and leave some extra crumbles in her school bag. Now nobody will go hungry.

Habit #3: The dishes: Now I ain't no mothereffing maid, I'm not paid to do this shit. I'm an effing student. And I take care of my own shit. MY OWN shit. I follow all the rules that are up for what applies in the kitchen, which is "clean the fuck up after all your meals". I know for some people it's quite difficult and they'd procrastinate this duty. I totally understand. If you're gonna pursue this life path then I have a nice solution for you: Keep your shit to youself!!!! Leave it outta other people's sight! Nononono. That's not an option here. Look. We have cookwares that everyone shares. Ever had the thought "Oh, maybe my flatmate will need this when they cook"? Not this IQ-free bitch. You're not motherfucking at home anymore! Moving out and especially sharing areas with other people is a damn responsibility! It's not even a difficult task to just clean your shit up! I was the messiest shit at home, but as soon as I moved out to live alone, I just transformed 180, and took care of all my shit. Not a single soul is living in agony because of my shit. But this bitch of a flatmate left a bunch of dishes in the sink for days. DAYS. I had to do my own dishes while her shit took my space. And now there's two mugs that her other fjortis-bitch friend also used, are in the sink. No. I moved the mugs (which also have two spoons in them) to the kitchen table right beside the bitch's door. I ain't gonn' touch that shit no more. Worse thing. This bitch isn't at home on the weekends. It's friday today. Guess what's up. Yep, shit stains and mugs are left over for the weekend.

My mug: Ok. So I wrote a long ass paragraph about what happened to my beloved mug. I got so pissed that I've decided to leave this part empty.

No look. Look... I thought about coming up to her respectfully and calmly tell her about the concerns. But after this rage I realize the hoe does not deserve any type of respect from me.
